PIGtober 2021

2021 POPUPtober/ CUTober is a altered book, “Swine Not”. With a title like that, is it a surprise that my original plan of quick and simple illustrations went by the wayside, and I ended up going hog wild? A whole month of pig jokes on a prompt, not as easy as you would think. It took a spreadsheet and a village.

Although my primary focus this year was integrating a pig joke into each POPUPtober prompt, I did try to incorporate the corresponding CUTober prompt for the day. This year I swore it would be fast and easy pig cartoons, and next thing I know there are whole scenes begging to be made. I blame the size of the book, it’s just not conducive to fast small sketches
